What is tetrogen?

Tetrogen is a weight loss supplement that is based on a 2-step day & night cycle. It claims to optimize metabolism at a cellular level. The difference between the two versions is one ingredient. The day version contains extra green tea extract, while the night version contains melatonin. The rest of the ingredients are the same.

1.Cissus Quadrangularis


This plant is native to Africa, The Arabian Peninsula and certain parts of Asia. It belongs to the grape family and also known as veldt grape or devil's backbone. It is used for thousands of years as a natural medicine for several conditions.

They confirmed that there was a significant reduction in every variable when the data from week 0 and week 8 were compared. 

There are not that many researches on this plant sadly, but the ones that are done confirmed it's effective for weight loss and other cardiovascular-related diseases.

3.Irvingia Gabonensis


This plant is native to Africa. It belongs to the Irvingiaceae family and also known as African mango, bush mango or wild mango. The fruits it bears are mango like, the people use the meat of the fruit as food and the seed as medicine.

Other than reducing bodyweight there are no other health benefits for the fruit, just the fact that it is used as food.
The body weight reducing effect was proven in this study. The study divided the participants into 3 different groups: placebo group, Dichrostachys glomerata group (the other ingredient of Tetrogen), and Irvingia Gabonensis group. Each group received 300 mg of their respective extract. The research went on for 8 weeks. The participants did not change their lifestyles, they didn't start to do any diet. They had to take one pill per day. As a result, there was significant body weight reduction in both the Dichrostachys glomerata group and Irvingia Gabonensis group. The study found that both of the plants are useful in losing bodyweight.

Side effects


Irvingia Gabonesis is possibly safe when it is taken up to 10 weeks. Minor side effects might occur, like flatulence, headaches, and sleep problems.


4.Lipofuel(Chilli extract)


Chili pepper is native to Mexico. It belongs to the Nightshade family and a high variety of this plant is well known.
